Tagging your videos in Tolstoy is essential for showcasing them effectively on your ecommerce store, including product detail pages (PDPs), home pages, and collection pages. This guide will walk you through the process of tagging videos.
Few things to consider:
If the platform you integrated with Tolstoy is Shopify, you can tag products by going to the "Library" tab and clicking the "Products" button for the video that you want to tag. Your products from Shopify will automatically be fetched.
If you’re using a native site or any other eCommerce platform like BigCommerce, WooCommerce, Wix, etc., you need to upload a CSV file that contains your products to the Tolstoy app. This allows you to tag videos with products. If you don’t upload a CSV with your products, you won’t be able to see the "Products" button and therefore cannot tag products.
Tagging Individual Videos
Go to your Library - On the left panel, click on Tag products. Once your Tolstoy library loads, you can search for a specific product to tag by typing it into the search bar at the top.
Select Products - Check the box to the left of the products that you want to tag in the video. You can tag one or multiple products in each video. When you are finished tagging products for that video, click the Save button.
