Learn how to create, configure, and implement a Product Launch widget for email campaigns

The Product Carousel (Product Launch) email widget is designed to showcase a single product campaign. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up and configuring this widget.

Getting Started

Select "Email Product Carousel" to begin creating your widget.

This widget is suitable for Klaviyo and Omnisend email platforms only and is specifically designed for individual product campaigns.

Selecting Your Product

  1. Select the newest product you want to launch. Search your catalog for the desired product.

  2. Important: Ensure the selected product has at least three videos. The GIF cannot be generated without sufficient video content.

GIF Configuration

Redirect Options:

You can link the GIF to:

  1. The product page of the selected product

  2. Any other specific page

  3. Tolstoy Player

UTM Parameters:

  • Add UTM parameters for tracking and analytics tools like Google Analytics.

  • This will help track traffic coming from users who click the GIF to your store.

Important: After adding UTM parameters, you must re-copy and paste the widget code.


Auto-open video feed

  • When enabled, the video feed will automatically open when users land on the page after clicking the email tile.


Video Feed Behavior

  1. Go to Video feed β†’ Behavior

  2. Toggle the following options on or off, depending on your preference

Publishing Your Widget

In Tolstoy

  1. Select your email tool (Klaviyo or Omnisend) to ensure we track the correct email attribute.

  2. Copy the provided code snippet.

In Email Tool

Add the copied HTML code to your email using one of these methods:

  1. Via the source code of a block

  2. Using the native HTML editor

If you don't see the GIF even though you have three videos featured in the selected product, please contact support for assistance.
