Image Carousels let you combine multiple static images into a single swipeable asset that shoppers can browse on your store. This feature is useful for showcasing product collections or promotions in an engaging format.
Create a playlist with images first that you will use in your carousel:
1. Navigate to Library → My Media → Playlist icon → + Add new playlist
2. Type Image carousel → Create
3. Choose the images to include in your Image carousel playlist by clicking the three dots on the upper right of the image → More → Tag Playlists → Image carousel
To create a homepage carousel on the new platform:
1. Navigate to Website → Shoppable Videos → + Create Widget
2. Choose Homepage Gallery (Carousel layout). If you only have static images, convert them into short videos (such as simple slideshows) and upload them to use in the Carousel widget.
3. Click the Media icon → + Add playlist → Image carousel. Click Publish when ready.
Tips
Keep your carousels focused - up to 8 images works best for a smooth shopping experience.
Make sure products are tagged on your images before creating the carousel to save time.
