Creating Tolstoy Audience

Google Analytics provides powerful tools to understand and analyze your website's traffic. One of the essential features is the ability to create custom audiences, which can help you target specific groups of users. In this help article, we'll walk you through the process of creating a "Tolstoy Audience" in Google Analytics.


Follow the steps below:

  1. Open your Google Analytics account

  2. Click on Admin β†’ Audiences

  3. Click on New Audience β†’ Create a custom audience

  4. Give the Audience a name, for example: Tolstoy Viewers

  5. Click on Add new condition β†’ Events

  6. Select the event name tolstoyStarted

πŸ’‘Events are updated in Google Analytics within 24 hours after sending them.

7. Set audience limit to maximum limit

8. Click save

Optional: Created an exclude audience

  1. Click on New Audience β†’ Create a custom audience

  2. Give the Audience a name, for example: Not Tolstoy Viewers

  3. Click on the trash can to remove the include users rule

  4. Click on Add group to exclude

  5. Click on Add new condition β†’ Events

  6. Select the event name tolstoyStarted

  7. Set audience limit to maximum limit

  8. Click save

How to use Audience

  1. In any report click on Add comparison +

  2. Build a comparison by the Audience name you created
    ​

  3. Click Apply.
    ​
