If you're using Zendesk as your support tool, and you're also receiving responses to your Tolstoy, you can set up an automation in Zapier that will automatically create tickets for responses received in Tolstoy!

  1. Choose Tolstoy in the App Event.

  2. Choose New Lead as the event.

  3. Choose your Tolstoy account and click Continue.

  4. Test your lead, and continue once it's working.

  5. Now, it's time to set up your second action. In your app event, choose Zendesk. If this is your first time using Zendesk in Zapier, you will need to integrate it by selecting your Zendesk account and putting the API key in Zapier, as per their instructions. In action event, choose Create Ticket.

  6. Choose your Zendesk account, and continue.

  7. Now, set up your action. In the subject, we recommend that you name it "New Ticket for" + Tolstoy, which will name the ticket with the name of the Tolstoy.

In the Requester email, choose Lead email.

And in the First Comment/Description, choose Events text. This will include the response that the viewer left you.

The rest of the settings are up to your preferences!

  8. Click Continue and Test the Zap. Once it's working, click on Turn on Zap.

That's it! This is how you'll receive the ticket in Zendesk:
