Making your website accessible is key to ensuring all clients are able to use your service! Tolstoy comes with built-in close caption generation. You can turn on or off the closed captions whenever you want. Also, if the caption generation misses or mishears something, you can manually edit the captions. Follow this guide for step-by-step instructions!

  1. Go to the Video settings on your Videos tab.

  2. Click the CC icon on the left side of your Tolstoy video.

  3. Edit captions as you wish - you can edit the text, change the timing, and add as many subtitles as needed. Click Save when you are done.

Note: You can also add/edit captions in the Library for automated Tolstoy video layouts. Go to Library > hover your mouse over to the video you want to add/edit closed captions > click the three dots on the upper right > Edit Captions. Save once done.

Now your Tolstoys can easily have their captions turned on and off!
