Choose Model lets shoppers switch between pre-selected models so they can see the same product on different body types or sizes — no shopper photo upload.
How to Set Up
In Tolstoy, open Widgets.
Click + Create (or Explore widgets).
Open Virtual Try-On, then Choose your model.
Open the Choose My Model template and send the starter message so Tolstoy creates your Choose Model widget.
When the How Choose Model works screen opens, click Start setup.
Complete the steps: Lineup → Models → Preview → Products → Publish.
How to Publish
Shopify
Finish the in-product Publish step.
If prompted, enable the Tolstoy app embed and place the Choose Model block on the product page template.
Save in Shopify and confirm models appear on a live product page.
Non-Shopify
Copy the embed snippet from the publish flow.
Paste it on the product page and set the product and variant IDs the snippet asks for.
Publish, then test on the live site.
Best Practices
Offer a small lineup that covers the sizes or body types your shoppers care about.
Preview on more than one product before publishing.
Troubleshooting and FAQs
I already see Choose Model under Widgets
Open Widgets → Virtual Try-On → Choose your model, open your Choose Model widget, then click Start setup to edit.
I used to open Virtual Try-On → Experiences
That path is gone. Create Choose Model from Widgets → + Create → Virtual Try-On → Choose your model, or open an existing one from the Widgets list.
Why is Choose Model not on Features?
Features is for Ask AI, Top Questions, Search Bar, and Chat Bubble. Choose Model lives under Widgets → Virtual Try-On.
Why does the template say Choose My Model?
The template card is labeled Choose My Model. After you create it, the widget is called Choose Model.
