How to Set Up and Publish Top Questions (AI Shopper)

Create Top Questions from Widgets → Features → Try now, add product questions, then publish on Shopify or with an embed snippet.

Top Questions shows clickable, product-specific questions on your store so shoppers can get quick answers before they buy.

How to Set Up

  1. In Tolstoy, open Widgets.

  2. In the Customer Agent menu, open Features.

  3. On Top Questions, click Try now. This creates Top Questions if you do not have one yet, and opens the editor.

  4. In Content, pick products and generate or add questions. Use Style, Settings, and Test Agent before publishing.

How to Publish

Shopify

  1. Click Publish.

  2. If prompted, enable the Tolstoy app embed in Shopify.

  3. Click Add block or Add section to open the Shopify theme editor.

  4. Add the Top Questions block or section to your product page template, then Save in Shopify.

  5. Confirm the questions appear and open correctly on a live product page.

Non-Shopify

  1. Open the publish flow and copy the embed snippet.

  2. Paste it where you want Top Questions to appear.

  3. Publish, then test on the live site.

  • Start with a few products shoppers ask about most.

  • Keep questions short and specific.

  • Test Agent before publishing.

Troubleshooting and FAQs

I already see Top Questions under Widgets

Open it from the Widgets list to edit Content, Style, and publish. Use Features → Top Questions → Try now the first time you create one.

Why do I see an Enable Tolstoy step?

On Shopify, the Tolstoy app embed needs to be enabled before Top Questions can appear.
