Allow Fallback Models sits under Try-On settings for See It On You / Virtual Try-On and Beauty Try-On. It is on by default.
When it is on, a rejected or failed try-on can run again with other models. When it is off, Tolstoy still tries one other model after your selected Try-On Model. If that also fails, the shopper sees an error and can try a different photo or item.
How to Set Up
In Tolstoy, open Settings → AI agent → What it can do.
Under TRY-ON, turn on Virtual Try-On (or expand it if it is already on) to open Try-On Features.
Under Try-On Model, find Allow Fallback Models. It defaults to on.
Leave it on for the full fallback chain after a rejection or failure. Turn it off to allow only one other model after the selected model.
How to Publish
You do not need to republish a widget. Changes save on the AI agent and apply to live See It On You and Beauty Try-On experiences that use these settings.
Best Practices
Keep Allow Fallback Models on unless you have a reason to limit retries.
Choose your preferred Try-On Model in the same Try-On Features section.
Beauty Try-On uses the same Try-On Features settings, including Allow Fallback Models.
