Native Product Gallery replaces the default Shopify product gallery with a Tolstoy gallery. It helps merchants control media order, add video and image content, and assign media to specific variants.
How to Set Up
In Tolstoy, Widgets ➜ All templates ➜ Shoppable videos ➜ Native Product Gallery
2. Click Create my own
3. You have the option to customize the look and feel of your product gallery by choosing customization options provided by agent. You can upload a reference screenshot of what you'd like to copy or create or let the agent suggest design changes for you.
How to Publish
Once you're all set, click the Publish button
2. Copy the embed code ➜ Click the Add block button ➜ Paste the embed code inside the Tolstoy Builder block
That's it. 💪
Best Practices
Put the strongest product media first.
Use variant-specific media only when the shopper needs a clear difference between variants.
Hide duplicate or low-value assets.
Test the gallery on mobile and desktop before you publish.
Check at least one live product page after every update.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Why is the gallery not showing on the live product page?
Make sure Gallery Visibility is turned on for that product. Then make sure the widget is published.
Why are my changes not visible yet?
Make sure you saved the changes and then published the latest update.
How to Pause and Remove?
For Native Product Gallery, use Pause. This widget uses Pause, not an Unpublish button.
To unpublish the whole gallery widget:
Open the
Native Product Gallerywidget.Go to the top-right status button.
If the widget is live, it will showLive.Open the dropdown.
Click
Pause.
This changes the widget from published to draft state.
If you want to remove the gallery only for one product:
Open the
Gallerytab.Select the product.
Turn off
Gallery Visibilityto exclude that product from the gallery.
If you want to remove all custom media settings for one product and go back to the normal Shopify media order:
Open the same product in
Gallery.Click
Reset.
Reset clears the custom gallery data for that product and returns it to the default Shopify product media order.
