6. Under Personality & voice, choose a Tone:
- Professional
- Friendly
- Enthusiastic

Best Practices
- Use a short name that matches your brand voice.
- Keep the bio focused on product help, brand style, and shopper support.
- Use Instructions for rules and guardrails, not for long product data.
- Check the live preview after you change tone or style.
- Turn on only the availability options that fit your billing and launch plan.
Troubleshooting / FAQs
Why can I not type a longer name?*
The agent name field allows up to 30 characters.
Why do I not see a publish button on the Profile tab?
Profile is a shared Customer Agent setting. Save it in Settings, then publish an AI Shopper entry point.
Why do shoppers still see the old profile?*
Make sure you clicked Save changes and the page shows All changes saved. Then test a live AI Shopper entry point on the store.
Why are my instructions not saving?
The instructions field has a 20,000 character limit. Shorten the text if you reach the limit.
Does this profile apply to only one entry point?
No. The profile is shared across AI Shopper entry points that use the same Customer Agent settings.
