Tolstoy offers a Free plan, four paid plans (Starter, Plus, Pro, and Max), and custom Enterprise plans.
Every paid plan includes access to three products:
Shoppable Videos (AI Player): Create interactive video experiences, including Stories, Carousels, and Shoppable Videos.
AI Studio: Generate and edit product images and videos using AI.
AI Sales Agent (AI Shopper): Help shoppers find products, ask questions, and virtually try on items.
You don't need separate subscriptions for these products. Simply choose a plan based on your business needs and expected usage.

How Monthly Usage Works
Each Tolstoy product has its own monthly usage allowance.

Important things to know:
Each product's allowance is tracked separately.

What happens if I exceed my allowance?
For Shoppable Videos, additional viewers are charged based on your plan.

Free Plan and 14-Day Trial
You can get started with Tolstoy for free without entering your credit card details.
Eligible accounts receive a 14-day publishing trial when they publish their first widget.
During the trial:
Publish your first widget to your website.
Enjoy unlimited on-site views for 14 days.
Explore how Tolstoy works before choosing a paid plan.
To keep your widget live after the trial ends, you'll need to subscribe to a paid plan.
Monthly vs. Annual Billing
Tolstoy offers two billing options:
Monthly: Pay for your subscription each month.
Annual: Pay upfront for the full year at a discounted rate.
Annual prices on the Pricing Page are displayed as a monthly equivalent, but the full annual amount is charged upfront.

How to Check Your Plan and Remaining Credits
You can monitor your subscription and usage directly from your Tolstoy account.
Log in to the Tolstoy Platform.
Go to Settings → Usage & Billing.
Open the Overview tab to check:
Your current subscription plan.
Your remaining viewers and AI credits.
Your next renewal or usage reset date.
Open Usage History to review your previous usage.
Tip: Check your remaining credits before generating multiple AI assets or launching a large campaign to avoid unexpected charges.
If your organization manages billing, contact your account administrator to request plan changes or additional credits.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does every paid plan include all three products?
Yes! Starter, Plus, Pro, and Max include Shoppable Videos, AI Studio, and the AI Sales Agent. The main differences are usage allowances and additional features.
Will I be charged if I exceed my monthly usage?
Extra Shoppable Videos viewers are billed according to your plan's overage rate. AI Studio and Onsite AI credits are tracked separately, with applicable rates shown in your billing settings.
What happens if I'm subscribed to an older plan?
Your existing subscription keeps its current pricing and allowances. If you switch to a new plan, the new plan's pricing and allowances will apply.
Can I remove the Tolstoy watermark from my AI widgets?
Watermark removal for AI widgets is available on Enterprise plans only. Free, Starter, Plus, Pro, and Max plans retain the Tolstoy watermark.
Do I need to publish each widget separately?
Yes. Although your plan includes access to multiple products, you still need to create and publish each widget or experience separately.
Are AI Player and Shoppable Videos the same?
Yes! AI Player is also called Shoppable Videos, while AI Shopper is also known as the AI Sales Agent.
Do I need a Shopify store to use Tolstoy?
No. Tolstoy also supports other websites through code-based installation for supported experiences.
