Connect Tolstoy MCP to Le Chat

Connect Studio MCP or Library MCP to Le Chat.

Before you start

Choose which Tolstoy MCP connection you want to add. The client setup steps are the same for Studio MCP and Library MCP; the URL is the part that changes.

  • Studio MCP: generate and iterate on Studio images or videos.

  • Library MCP: browse, search, inspect, rename, or favorite Tolstoy library assets.

How to connect Le Chat

  1. Open Le Chat. Custom connectors are an admin feature on Team and Enterprise plans. Personal accounts are admin by default.

  2. Go to Connectors -> + Add Connector -> Custom MCP Connector.

  3. Name it tolstoy with no spaces.

  4. Paste the matching MCP URL.

  5. Authorize with Tolstoy. Le Chat detects OAuth 2.1 automatically.

  6. If Tolstoy later ships new tools, remove and re-add the connector so Le Chat refreshes the tool list.
